The International Certified Management Organization exists:
1. To create, maintain and extend high standards of management consulting practice worldwide.
2. To set the benchmark for management consulting practice, shaping the success of individual management consultants and management consulting practices through ethical and transformative global initiatives.
3. Encourage the training of management consultants, emphasising a deep understanding of the Uniform Body of Knowledge (UBK) and the International CMC code of Ethical Professional Practice as well as a demonstration of sure-footed competence in the understanding and application of the management consulting process.
