5. To increase the understanding of consultancy’s true role in business, public sector and in Non-Governmental
Organization (NGOs).
6. To provide opportunities for consultants to improve their technical and consulting skills through specialized training
and career development programmes.
7. To gain public recognition for the certifications of this body and to enhance the reputation of management
consulting as a profession.
8. To assure the public that members possess the ethical standards and the professional competence and
independence required for membership and are, therefore,
qualified to practice.

9. To help ensure standards which will engender public confidence and trust in the management consulting

10. To collaborate with local and international institutions for the promotion of standards in consultancy practice,
manpower training and management research.
11. To promote ethical and high standards of professional management consultancy worldwide.
12. To train and certify consultants and researchers.
13. To train, examine, assess, grade and certify trainee consultants to indicate levels of achievement.
14. To award Memberships and Fellowships to indicate seniority in the profession of management consultancy.
15. To publish journals, books, and advocacy articles to promote understanding of consultancy’s true value.

17. To organise conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia and trainings to promote management
consultancy and human capital development.
18. To promote Accreditation of Prior Learning to facilitate the certification of experienced management consultants.
19. To promote accreditation of consultancy firms and practices.

20. To enact bylaws to regulate activities of committees or any organisation convened by the directors.
21. Appoint patrons with specific roles in furtherance of the objectives of the organisation.
22. To promote reciprocal recognition or standards and certifications among Management Consultants and
consulting institute globally.
23. To promote recognition of consultants based on Uniform Body of Knowledge (UBK) also known as Common
Body of Knowledge (CBK).
24. To promote Certifications of management consultants as Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Fellow
Certified Management Consultant (FCMC), Registered Management Consultant (RMC), Accredited Management
Consultant (AMC), Accredited Consulting Practice (ACP) and to issue practicing licenses to members.
25. To collaborate or partner with educational institutions to promote academic exchanges, including exchange of credit for prior learning and to enter into agreements or arrangements to offer courses leading to qualifications of
such educational partners.
26. To accredit or recognise courses, diplomas and qualifications of any institutions as suitable for gaining
membership of this body.
27. To combat racial discrimination among consultants of all nations.

28. To promote equality among consultants in all nations and to foster gender equality among members of this body.
29. To grant franchise license to any individual or organization or entity to open a chapter or branch of this
body anywhere in the world.
30. To award certificate or diplomas to indicate level of achievement in learning in the field of management and
management consultancy.
31. To do all that is conducive to the advancement of the stated objects.
